Note: Teléfono works everywhere; móvil is Spain, celular is Latin America.

Short answer: tech vocabulary is where Spain and Latin America differ most. A phone is el móvil in Spain and el celular in most of Latin America; a computer is el ordenador in Spain and la computadora elsewhere. Many words are borrowed from English and given Spanish endings: hacer clic, chatear, wasapear (to message on WhatsApp). An email address is read out with arroba for @ and punto for the dot.

Hacer clic, chatear, googlear, wasapear

Borrowed verbs become regular -ear verbs and conjugate like hablar: chateo, chateas, chatea. Some keep hacer + an English noun.
