German practice: twelve vocabulary drills with audio, der, die and das

Dein Wochenplan · your week

Pick how many minutes a day you have and get a week of drills. Each one takes about five minutes.

Short answer: each drill tests eight words from one topic guide in sixteen questions: recall the German word, recognise it by ear, use it in a sentence, and say what it means. New rounds reshuffle the mix, and missed answers go into a review list. Every noun comes with its article, so you learn der, die or das with the word. Every answer is spoken and every sentence is glossed word by word. Thirteen out of sixteen is a pass; repeat a drill a week later to make the words stick.

Seven checkpoints, from sounds to style

Each checkpoint has eight mixed questions on one block of the course, with the rule, a word-by-word gloss and a link to the guide under every answer. Seven out of eight means you are ready for the next block. When you finish, try a Goethe-Zertifikat mock.
